Environmental impact policy documents

HEMA works with suppliers to design and produce good products that last longer. In addition, an important part of our policy is to continuously reduce our environmental impact. We therefore closely monitor our production sites and work with a number of policy documents to comply with our development approach at all production sites in high-risk countries.

RSL list

To guarantee the quality and safety of the environment and our consumers, we adhere to a Restricted Substances List (RSL list).

Sustainable packaging

HEMA's goals on the use and reduction of packaging are given below:

• Less consumer packaging* (-25% by 2025 compared to 2019)
• Less plastic in consumer packaging** (-25% by 2025 compared to 2019)
• At least 20% recycled or bio-based plastics in consumer packaging by 2025
• Recyclable packaging (100% by 2025)
